Some New Looks for the Venerable Lid​

Arai’s Corsair-X full-face motorcycle helmet is one of the better ones on the market. The company revealed some new graphics late last year for the helmet, but we received an email saying they’d add a couple of additional graphics to the list. Let’s take a look at what those are.

Hyden Laguna Replica​

According to Arai, this one’s back by popular demand (shown in the lead image above). The company heard from numerous Nicky Hayden fans who wanted the graphic brought back so they could honor their fallen hero. Arai decided to listen to its customers and brought the graphic back for fall of 2019.

It’s a design featuring stars to either side of the helmet—one with the American flag on it and the other a deep dark blue. The rest of the helmet features red, white, and black in an attractive design. It’s cool to see Arai bring this back.

Rea-5 Graphic​

In his quest to win his fifth World Superbike title, Arai’s Jonathan Rea managed to come back from a 61 point deficit. To help honor and encourage this effort, Arai decided to put out a graphic inspired by the rider. The Rea-5 graphic will also now be available at Arai dealers.

The graphic features a red white a black design with some bright green highlights that add some visibility and flair to the lid that otherwise wouldn’t be there. It’s an eye-catching design and one I actually really like. It fits the Corsair-X well, and it’s something Rea and Arai should be proud of.
